Ashtanga (half-led)

Dynamic, traditional series of postures. We practice the Primary Series based on the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the founder of this kind of Yoga. It is a fixed system of asanas and we do not change the series but sometimes the shortened version is practiced: after Navasana we go on to the finishing sequence.

Dynamic Hatha

This class is based on the traditional hatha series. Not so dynamic as the vinyasa flow, but the asanas are held  for the same period, around 5 breaths. It gives time to practice more versions of the asanas, especially in the standing sequence. Best way for beginners to try the dynamic type of practice. The lesson is finished with a 5-minutes relaxation.

Hatha

Series of traditional basic asanas. For beginners this one may be the best option to start with, as the postures are basically static and we come back to the starting position between the asanas. The poses are held for 1-3 minutes, which helps us immerse and absorb in these asanas and gives beginners time to learn them accurately.

Hip Opening Vinyasa Flow

The hip-opening vinyasa is a flow-style class with a focus on the hip joint. We stay in the asanas for 5 breaths, or even a bit longer in the stretching poses. Just as in the normal vinyasa class, we have many Sun Salutations and we also practice the asanas linked together to feel the flow in our yoga practice.

Office Yoga

The office yoga class is a 50 minutes class (45 minutes+5 minutes relaxation). It will not make you sweat that much but will move your spine, neck and limbs really well, in addition to relaxing your body and bring you back into balance. It might fit into your lunch break, so you will be fully energized for the rest of your work day.

Power Yoga

Freestyle series of excercises which take elements from all the other types, with a focus on  strenghtening. It is mostly dynamic, asanas are held for 5-8 breaths. Compared to hatha, there are more postures to sthrenghten the core muscles, the shoulders and the arms. It may be a great preparation for practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa. The class finishes with a 5-minute relaxation.

Spine Yoga

Spine yoga is especially recommended for people doing sitting work, after longer periods of studying, physical work, lack of physical exercise or beginner yoga students. It develops the body and body consciousness with anatomically reasoned, simple and targeted exercises.

Vinyasa Flow

Dynamic type of yoga, asanas are held  for a relatively short time, 5 breaths. There are a lot of Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), not only in the beginning but throughout the whole lesson. The poses are linked together vith vinyasas thus flow will be added to the practice.

Vinyasa Krama

Yin Yoga
