Spine yoga is especially recommended for people doing sitting work, after longer periods of studying, physical work, lack of physical exercise or beginner yoga students. It develops the body and body consciousness with anatomically reasoned, simple and targeted exercises. It can be practiced not only for the purposes of prevention or rehabilitation, but – by using a simplified toolkit of hatha yoga – also as a preparatory step for other types of yoga. In the course of the spine yoga sessions we pay especial attention to exercises targeting the achievement of a better posture, appropriate breathing techniques and a better ability to relaxation. Course of the class: tuning in – warming up – breathing exercises – exercises for posture improvement – strengthening exercises – stretching exercises. The class is finished with a 10-minute relaxation.
