Practicing and instructing yoga has only recently become part of my day-to-day life. It’s extremely important to keep an eye on one’s advancement. You must never be content with the knowledge you possess, especially if you’re an instructor. But I gladly pass on what I’ve learned so far on my own and what others have taught me.

The aim of hatha yoga is to achieve a meditative state through asanas, breathing exercises, and controlling your senses. I recommend these courses to both beginner and intermediate level yoga-students. Due to the large number of basic asanas to be mastered, this course is a great way for beginners to start practicing yoga, as these asanas serve as stepping stones for more advanced lessons.

Yoga helps you forget the everyday treadmill for a while. It also encourages observing yourself and others in a completely new way. Through yoga we get a chance to introduce rules and regularity in our lives, and we also get an opportunity to better our body and mind. Yoga offers a way to acquaint us with ourselves and the world – why is it here, and what’s our purpose in it?

“Yoga is the yoking of all the powers of body, mind, and soul to God; it means the disciplining of the intellect, the mind, the emotions, the will, which that Yoga presupposes; it means a poise of the soul which enables us to look at life in all its aspects evenly.” (Mahadev Desai)
